Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American singer and performer who made her name with witty rappers, which explored issues of race as well as sexuality from humor that was bold and witty. After that, she branched out to Hollywood. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens. Her initial exposure to music stemmed from the trumpet. In the following years, she took up studying classical music and hip hop. While at school, she studied journalism as well as women's studies at college, even doing Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. The focus on music until the time she graduated. After becoming famous through the Internet the My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually became a part of her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also had viral hits such as the body-positive Queef or her wink-inducing hometown tour New York Bitche$. The latter track connected directly with another Awkwafina project NYC a travel guide published in the year 2015. The singer decided to pursue acting careers following the completion of her previous two ventures as a musician and author. In addition to early shows like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in film projects like Neighbors to Storks. In 2018, she got numerous important roles such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
